At Oracle Customer Edge Summit, Oracle Engineering and Construction customers Cleveland Clinic, McCarthy Holdings, Northwell Health, and Plant Construction, L.P. were recognized for their ability to overcome industry challenges, and innovate to deliver business value and compelling results across project and asset lifecycles.

Contractor of the Year Winner – McCarthy Holdings, Inc.
McCarthy Holdings, Inc. (McCarthy) is the holding entity for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., one of the largest commercial construction companies in America. The firm has streamlined and automated a critical part of its back office: subcontractor payments. With Oracle Textura Payment Management McCarthy can now process large volumes of payments and mitigate risk through secure management of lien waivers, automated clearing house (ACH) payments, and robust compliance management.
Working with Oracle Textura client services, McCarthy was able to configure projects and on-board over 1,500 users prior to a nationwide deployment. This has decreased time spent collecting and managing pay application documents, while also improving control and streamlining collection of lien waivers, sub-tier waivers, and all other compliance documents. It is estimated that Textura has reduced the amount of time administrators spend managing billings by 15% (approx. 3 days per month).
Innovator of the Year Winner – Northwell Health
New York’s largest healthcare provider, Northwell Health, embarked on a digital transformation journey starting in 2018 that has revolutionized its Facilities Services Departments, and improved its control and performance across more than 1,000 Capital Projects.
To support its expanding footprint, Northwell Health selected Oracle Primavera Unifier and Oracle Primavera Cloud. These applications enabled them to streamline construction management processes through the standardization of project scheduling, cost management, and project data to create a single source of truth. With unified data and standardized electronic workflows, Northwell has improved its control and visibility over $600M in annual capital project costs. The transformation highlighted a remarkable shift from siloed systems and processes to consistent and connected processes, integrated data, cost reductions, and more effective resource management.
Collaboration with Oracle Consulting helped ensure seamless data migration and synchronization of project schedules across the Facilities Project Portfoio. This move also improved data transparency and operational efficiency, empowering the department to focus higher value activities. Northwell Health continues to be committed to pursuing U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED certifications in its new building construction and major renovations, and seeks innovation in sustainable design, green building materials and energy-efficient systems.

Cleveland Clinic is a renowned non-profit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. By implementing Oracle Textura Payment Management, it has streamlined and standardized construction-related financial processes, aligning with its mission to deliver excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.
A unique aspect of Cleveland Clinic’s implementation was developing a detailed and cross-functional process map with an integration between Oracle Textura and Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This powerful combination has led to improved cash flow forecasting, a standardized payment application process with its primary and sub-tier suppliers, and a welcome acceleration of payment cycle times.
