What Intrigued Me

Frankly, a product like EnSuite awakens my inner-most CAD Manager persona. I can actually feel my heart rate actually increase as I think about it. … Yeah. Really. (I know. I’m weird)

The fact is, often times engineering organizations don’t accurately consider the time wasted outside the direct context of production. If a task they categorize as either direct engineering or design related, it is often delegated to non-production staff and considered overhead. File translation is often one of those tasks, and is assigned to a CAD Manager or IT person.

As more and more of these organizations grow both their multi-CAD commitments, while their software licensing budgets tighten, it’s tools like EnSuite that provide a way to address both issues. Specifically, EnSuite can be an effective tool for an organization that doesn’t use SolidWorks, yet encounter their files in their workflows on occasion.
