Program focuses on LEED and sustainable design certification.
US Green Building Council (USGBC) is looking to expand the use of green technologies in the construction industry through online green technology and sustainability training. The USGBC certifies LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification. They hope to promote these best practice certifications and strategies through online learning.
RedVector focuses on eLearning for corporate workforce training in engineering, construction and architecture, and industrial and facility management industries. They are partnering with USGBC to create the online education program.
The RedVector and USGBC partnership should open new doors and help proliferate information about green technologies to building professionals. Continual education, exam preparation and courses will help engineers and other building professionals ensure they are up-to-date on green building information. The course will also help the participants to achieve and maintain LEED AP and LEED Green Associates credentials.
“The USGBC Education Partner network is a diverse network of leaders, trusted voices and reputable providers of green building and sustainability education … We’re excited to welcome RedVector to our network as we partner to advance sustainability education and utilize our core competencies to support best-in-class learning opportunities,” said Rachel Gutter, USGBC SR VP.
“We are honored to partner with the USGBC and are excited to provide world-class online training that promotes sustainable projects and practices,” said Bobby Person, Product Director at RedVector. “We believe our efforts will encourage the creation of more LEED-certified buildings, the kind that save money and resources, promote renewable, clean energy and have a positive impact on the health of occupants.”
