The LASER 400 family is a new series of laser engraving machines designed for laser engraving, texturing and structuring of small parts. The family includes the LASER P 400 3-axis machine and the LASER P 400U 5-axis machine.

The LASER 400 series incorporates a fully digitized texturing process to engrave and add functional texture to parts, molds and dies, including complex 3D parts.

The machines utilize a dual laser head that includes a fiber nanosecond laser and a femtosecond pulsed laser. These allows surface texturing and engraving with a single setup as well as extending the range of materials that can be used.

The LASER P 400 accommodates workpieces up to 23.6” x 15.7” x 9.8”. The LASER P 400U accommodates workpieces with a maximum diameter and height of 4.7”. Both machines have a footprint of 48.4” x 87.8”.

In addition, the machines can be automated to enable unattended night and weekend operation.
