NetSuite Announces Collaboration with Microsoft During SuiteWorld 2015

The company announces integration with Microsoft Office 365, with big data and e-commerce collaboration between the firms continuing throughout 2015.

The SuiteWorld 2015 conference has begun in San Jose, Calif., with a keynote presentation by NetSuite president and CEO Zach Nelson. Major news includes integration of NetSuite products with Microsoft Office 365, with big data and e-commerce collaboration between the firms continuing throughout 2015.

Nelson also announced during the keynote that NetSuite has landed its biggest customer to date, American Express Global Travel. The firm is enjoying strong year over year growth and the 2015 conference is a major networking opportunity for users of the Cloud-based ERP/CRM package.

“Industry lines are starting to blur,” declared Nelson, adding, “150 billion dollars in revenue passes through our systems. We can see what’s coming. Product companies are becoming service companies. Everyone is ‘B to B’ and ‘B to C’.”

More than 6,000 attendees are expected, who will participate in 200 breakout sessions. NetSuite customers, partners and vendors are all present.

While NetSuite products are used most commonly in the supply chain industries for financials, inventory management, reporting and CRM, manufacturing is evolving as an important market for the company. SuiteWorld 2015 includes breakout sessions dedicated to manufacturing, covering such topics as order management, inventory and warehousing, purchasing, ecommerce, assembly and light manufacturing.

The event runs through Thursday, May 7 at the San Jose Convention Center.
