MSC.Software Enters an Agreement with the Boeing Co.

MSC.Software, a leading provider of enterprise simulation software and services, announced that The Boeing Company has entered into a new multiyear agreement under which they will use the Enterprise Advantage system for next generation simulation across the Boeing enterprise.

This agreement builds upon the existing environment, guarantees continued access to the systems already in place, and adds new technology from the SimEnterprise package including the new multi-discipline solver, SimXpert for advanced simulation templates and SimManager for process management.

MD Nastran is enterprise simulation software that combines such platforms as MSC Nastran, Marc, Dytran and LS-Dyna into an integrated multidiscipline framework. It offers a range of simulation and analysis capabilities with integrated coupling between disciplines for more accurate real world simulations. It is the center of the SimEnterprise portfolio.

SimManager Enterprise lets businesses harness the sea of data produced in product development and save time and costs with easy management and integration of engineering data within the IT infrastructure. SimManager enables the automation of simulation.

SimXpert is the next-generation CAE platform that helps manufacturers accelerate the speed and accuracy of simulation and bring better products to market faster. It is built around MSC.Software’s multidiscipline core solver set, combining the most common FE systems into a single analysis framework built upon a common data model. The interface comprises interchangeable workspaces (including Structures, Motion, Thermal, and Explicit) that efficiently guide you through modeling set-up, solution submission, and results interpretation for the chosen application. Further modeling efficiencies are achieved through native CAD interoperability and full associativity of the CAD and FEM geometries. SimXpert is also fully operational with SimManager.
