Irvine, CA – MecSoft Corporation and Roland DGA Corporation announce their OEM agreement and release of JewelMILL CAM software, to be used by jewelers in conjunction with Roland JWX-30 milling machines. The packaging of JewelMILL with Roland’s existing JWX-30 provides customers a combination of easy-to-use, powerful, and affordable CAM software technology that also delivers strong business value.

Based on MecSoft’s proprietary VisualMILL® technology, JewelMILL’s powerful wizard based user interface offers support for 4-axis milling and simulation of finished 3D models. Users can quickly create tool paths through a simple 6 step production process with little to no learning curve, thus allowing jewelers to cut their wax models within minutes of creation. By utilizing the original model data, instead of converting smooth data to rough mesh data, JewelMILL provides faster model production with tighter dimensional accuracies and smoother surface finishes.
