Mechnano’s Formula1µ ESD resin approved for BMF printers

After testing and qualification, Mechnano’s Formula1µ ESD resin is now approved for use with BMF’s 200 and 300 series micro-precision 3D printers. Formula1µ, tuned specifically for BMF printers, is poised to revolutionize the world of static dissipative part fabrication, particularly in environments with temperatures up to 90° C and below. It also brings speed and affordability to the creation of electrostatic dissipative (ESD) parts, opening doors for researchers and manufacturers to craft prototypes, manufacturing aids, and end-use parts with ESD properties.

Mechnano’s Formula1µ is a cutting-edge, black, rigid, static-dissipative photopolymer resin. What sets it apart is its unique formulation, utilizing Mechnano’s proprietary discrete Carbon Nanotube technology, known as D’Func. This technology enables the production of high-resolution, Nano-Uniform ESD parts with isotropic properties, all while eliminating concerns of carbon sloughing.

Before the advent of Formula1µ, the additive manufacturing (AM) landscape lacked viable solutions for the fabrication of highly detailed ESD-safe components. Formula1µ has transformed the game, offering a swift and cost-effective alternative to the traditionally time-consuming and expensive machining of ESD-safe parts.
