Mechanical KW and Electrical KW
Q: What is the difference between mechanical KW and Electrial KW? I mean if I know heating load in KW, can we consider this KW as electrical KW to calculate electrical load of a building?
They are the same. [1] There is no difference between a ‘mechanical’ kW (about 1.34 horsepower) and an ‘electrical’ kW. This means a 1.34 hp moter will require 1kW electrical power to run (assuming 100% efficiency).
