“The Mcor ARKe takes us one step closer to achieving our vision of putting a 3D printer in every office, classroom, and home,” said Dr. Conor MacCormack, co-founder and CEO of Mcor Technologies. “We have already taken over 4,000 pre-orders and we believe that this printer will transform the 3D printing industry stimulating widespread adoption of 3D printing particularly in education and among creative professionals.”

Recent feature additions to this printer are:

–More colors: a new paper ingredient, new compression software algorithms, and new ink formulation and full use of the print head contribute to the printer’s ability to deliver more colors. It can deliver two million colors.

–More strength: a new ‘Power’ adhesive gives ARKe models double the stiffness of parts from previous printers. In addition, the printer itself is more rugged with higher load capacity slide rails, a precision heater and a reinforced chassis to withstand the higher press force required. These changes enable the printer to build parts suitable for functional applications.

–More software: Orange Peel software assists with file preparation including splitting and joining files, color and texturing and file modification including smoothing, solidifying and extruding surfaces.

With these new features, the Mcor ARKe is available immediately for purchase at €17,995/$19,816.
