Materialise Certifications for the Manufacturing of End-Use Parts to help Aeronautic and Aerospace Customers Reduce Weight and Operating Cost of Aircraft, Improve Fuel Efficiency and Performance
Materialise NV , provides some of the most sophisticated and practical manufacturing software powering applications throughout a number of industries such as medicine and aerospace. Recently receiving EN9100 and EASA 21G certification, Materialise recently began authorized delivery of airworthy of additive manufactured end-use parts to the aerospace industry. It already provides prototypes and software to customers which helps them improve fuel efficiency and performance by enabling them to reduce the weight and operating cost of aircraft.
Aerospace companies only come to the table for suppliers who have adopted industry standards. EN9100 is a certification of quality assurance for the Aeronautic and Aerospace sector. EASA Part 21G certified production organization can deliver parts with a Form 1, implying that the parts are “ready to fly”.
