Cority has announced its improved Quality Management platform. Designed to provide users with a closed-loop continuous improvement process to ensure product safety, compliance and drive operational efficiency, this software increases visibility across the supply chain to monitor suppliers, capture user feedback and ensure high product standards.

According to John Easton, VP of Product Management at Cority, “To ensure our clients can proactively manage risk within their facilities, support ISO 9001 requirements and enable integrated EHSQ, we’ve developed a complete non-conformance lifecycle on the Cority Platform that initiates investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions…”

Leuze electronic demonstrated its Smart Process Gating (SPG) at this year’s LogiMAT. SPG was developed on the basis of the company’s MLC 530 safety light curtains. This muting process functions without the use of signal-emitting sensors.

SPG makes muting processes for intralogistics, the automotive industry and packaging industry less expensive, simpler and safer. Previously, muting processes with muting sensors were required in order to clearly identify when transported goods are approaching a protective field at material locks and to bridge the passing of these goods through the protective field at the correct moment. As a result of the SPG method, signal-emitting sensors are no longer needed, meaning that conveyor systems can be made more compact.
