Ever thought of a product you’d like to create but don’t have the time or resources to make it happen? Submit your idea to SolidWorks here and include any drawings or files that may help explain your concept. This spring SolidWorks will select finalists from all of the ideas received and then ask the community to vote on which they’d like them to build first.

You can vote on projects, weigh in on key design decisions and steer the design process through manufacturing. In each episode, the community will face real design challenges – like budget, materials and tight deadlines. You’ll also be able to comment, download models and share ideas to make the designs better. Initial ideas include a collapsible commuter vehicle, an ultimate office chair and a search and rescue ATV.
