ThinkStation P350 Tower, SFF, and Tiny pack PCIe 4.0 and more.

Tomorrow, Lenovo will begin shipping its next generation of entry-level workstations, the ThinkStation P530 series. There’s a trio of new products: the ThinkStation P350 Tower, Small Form Factor (SFF), and Tiny target users that need workstation performance at standard desktop prices, starting at $863 for the P350 Tiny up to $949 for the P350 SFF and $969 for the P350 Tower Workstation.
Each of the three workstations offers a tech upgrade from its previous ThinkStation iterations. Each features support for PCIe Gen 4 for faster access to storage and better professional graphics support. Lenovo’s most potent entry-level product line, according to the company, comes in three sizes for scalability in an array of different industries like engineering, architecture, finance, education and medicine. This provides companies with options for bringing ISV-certified-performing machines to workers with different roles and in different environments.

The ThinkStation P350 Tower and Small Form Factor were built for mission-critical functions where reliability and power are minimum requirements. Both contain the latest high-performance Intel Core or Xeon processors with support up to 11th Gen Intel Core or Intel Xeon W processors and feature NVIDIA RTX professional graphics. The Tower can support up to the NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics card. In addition, the Tower comes with a 500W power supply and a chassis with a new 750W PSU option, which grants high-end GPU users extra power for demanding workflows.
The smallest of the trio is the aptly-named ThinkStation P350 Tiny, designed for top performance in an unassuming package that’s 96 percent smaller than a traditional desktop computer. It’s powered by 11th Gen Intel Core processors and can be used as a host for remote workstation applications.
The ThinkStation P350 Tower and Small Form Factor host Windows 10 operating systems along with Ubuntu Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. They feature up to 128GB total DDR4 memory at 3200MHz across four UDIMM slots. Removable storage options are covered by a 3-in-1 media card reader, slim optical disk drive, and a front-accessible drive tray for the Tower.
In terms of connectivity, the Tower and Small Form Factor feature USB 3.2 ports, including both Gen 1 and 2, Type A and Type C. There’s also an audio and microphone jack in the front. In the rear, there’s an audio out port, DisplayPort, RJ-45, Thunderbolt 4, and other optional ports including HDMI.

The Tiny is truly diminutive compared to the Tower and Small Form Factor. Its dimensions come in at 1.4 x 7.2 x 7.0 inches; meanwhile, the Tower is 6.7 x 12.4 x 14.8 inches. The mid-range Small Form Factor measures 3.6 x 9.3 x 13.4 inches. The Tiny offers up to an NVIDIA T600 graphics card, up to 64GB of memory, and up to 4TB of storage. It comes with a 170W or 230W power supply. Due to its small size, the Tiny doesn’t boast a full repertoire of ports but features a combined audio/microphone port and is equipped with USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C and Type A along with a DisplayPort, HDMI, RJ-45, and Mini-DisplayPort.
