New products from ANCA Motion, Bachmann, Balluff, Binder USA and Nexen Group.
ANCA Linear Motor
ANCA Motion has introduced its LinX M-series linear motor, which provides precision CNC applications for high-speed automation systems. The LinX M-Series is compatible with standard pneumatics accessories such as mounting plates, linear guides and couplings.
ANCA Motion is also set to reveal its Single Cable Motion System that adopts the Hiperface DSL protocol technology by using a single cable for machine integration and diagnostics.

Bachmann M-Target
Bachmann released the M-Target for Simulink version 2.20, an interface between MATLAB and the M1 real-time control system. Using the MATLAB console or scripts, it is possible to read online values directly from the control system and immediately make them available for further calculations and evaluations. This extension is available for all CPU classes.
With M-Target for Simulink, code generated from a simulation model is installed directly on the M1 real-time system where it is executed as an autonomous application. Neither manual steps nor additional engineering tools are required.

Balluff Flat Pack Photoelectric Sensors
Balluff has launched a family of flat pack photoelectric sensors for various environments and industries with tight space restrictions. The sensors, which include a stainless steel housing, are resistant to aggressive cleaning agents, chemicals and coolants.
The line of photoelectric sensors includes a small, homogeneous pin-point red light spot; chemical-resistant optics(ECOLAB tested); and 316L stainless steel that meets the requirements of the packaging, food and beverage industries.

Binder USA Harsh Environment Connector
Binder USA unveiled its Series 696 HEC (Harsh Environment Connector) circular female panel mount connector with hinged cover. The 32 A per contact, 600V power connector is constructed with 4+PE, 8 and 12 silver-plated crimp contacts.
The connector’s plastic design was developed specifically for use in demanding environmental conditions. It is resistant against climatic influences such as UV exposure, temperature fluctuations, harsh weather and air pollutants, as well as shock and vibration.

Nexen Precision Rotary Indexer
Nexen Group announced its Motor Ready Sealed (MRS) precision rotary indexer. The device’s high roller pinion-to-gear ratio allows users to direct drive the system with the addition of a servo motor—eliminating the cost of a reducer. This also reduces engineering and installation time.
Additionally, the gear-to-pinion reaction loads are fully supported, meaning the servo motor shaft is not subjected to radial loading. This eliminates the need for costly high output capacity reducers in high load applications.
