Kraton launches CirKular+ Paving Circularity Series

Kraton's C5000 Series boosts asphalt durability and reduces paving's lifecycle carbon footprint.

Kraton Corp. marks the fifth anniversary of its CirKular+ product line with the introduction of the CirKular+ Paving Circularity Series. Developed to support the use of reclaimed asphalt and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the new series allows for the incorporation of up to 50% or more reclaimed asphalt in surface layers, while maintaining processability and performance.

Kraton, known for developing the first commercially viable styrenic block copolymers, supplies polymer modified asphalt solutions that improve durability and performance in paving. As industry and regulatory requirements evolve, the company continues to provide materials that support sustainability and circular economy goals.

Designed for the paving industry, Kraton’s Paving Circularity Series C5000 enhances the durability of the modified asphalt while preserving resistance against permanent deformation and further reducing the carbon footprint of paving over its life cycle. C5000 is compatible with Warm Mix Asphalt technologies and meets asphalt surface material specifications. The further expansion of the CirKular+ product line underscores Kraton’s long-term vision to create innovative solutions for a sustainable tomorrow.

Introduced in 2020, the CirKular+ product line supports plastics recycling and reuse through a lifecycle-focused approach.
