Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to provide Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) support to the Southwest Region. The CAE Support Engineer will provide technical expertise and support for the area offices in project development and delivery. The incumbent is the point of contact for questions related to the use of engineering design hardware, software, and operating systems, and acts as a liaison to the Headquarters CAE Support Office and the Southwest Region Information Technology Office. You will also provide project review and quality control support to region project offices. This position supports the agency’s mission by providing critical CAE support for the advancement and delivery of the Southwest Region programs.
