Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking multiple Assistant Project Engineers (WMS2) to help deliver the Northwest Region's highway design and construction contracts. These positions support the Project Engineer in ensuring projects meet local, state, and federal standards within scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include integrating projects into the environment, ensuring functionality for all transportation modes, and minimizing public impact. The roles also emphasize safety, sustainability, and innovative practices while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. The Assistant Project Engineer will act as the Project Engineer in their absence.
