Manager, Software Engineering (multiple positions available)
Salesforce Inc. has multiple job openings for Managers, Software Engineering in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Build a sustainable high performing team and a work environment that's both supportive and challenging. Partner closely with engineers, product, design and customer experience groups to define the roadmap for the team. Mentor and coach engineers on the team, helping them to develop into technical leaders. Collaborate with other engineering leaders on priorities, processes, and policies. Be accountable for driving project execution. Partner with teams across organization on various feature rollouts and initiatives. Help define processes and the engagement model for the team. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Hack; (2) ReactJS; (3) Swift; (4) Java/Kotlin; (5) Agile software development lifecycle; (6) Messaging apps; and (7) API design and development.
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $229,986.00 - $232,000.00 per annum.
