Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanical Estimator position include:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC or mechanical estimating, with a strong focus on large change orders and preparing detailed proposals.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Quotesoft or Quickpen is highly valued, although traditional hand estimating skills are also respected.
- Capable of working independently while managing a junior estimator, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop new and maintain existing client relationships.
- A proactive approach to staying updated with market trends, costs, and competitive strategies in the HVAC industry.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; further certification in HVAC or related fields preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits within New Jersey.

Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus potential.
