Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Assistant Region Traffic Engineer - King Area (WMS3) to provide strategic and tactical direction for the King Area Traffic team, ensuring optimization of transportation safety and system performance. This role encompasses planning, scoping, expert review, and approval of multi-modal highway design, as well as overseeing construction traffic control implementation. Responsibilities include coordination and consultation with regional and local transportation agencies and Tribes to optimize the regional transportation network for safety and mobility. This position is pivotal in fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment while contributing to the improvement of communities and economic vitality through effective transportation solutions.
