Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Estimator opportunity include:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related fields
- 5+ years of experience working for either a Site Contractor bidding on private projects, or a Highway Contractor as an estimator bidding on DOT/heavy highway projects
- Experienced in managing bid processes for construction projects, including infrastructure like highways, bridges, and utilities, with proficiency in HCSS, Oman, and Agtek software
- Skilled in all construction project phases, estimating from conceptual to detailed drawings, and identifying value-engineering and constructability issues
- Capable of assessing construction risks and producing accurate cost analyses and estimates reflecting site exposures
- Manage bid lifecycle, analyze construction documents, identify work scope, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop preliminary schedules to ensure comprehensive bid proposals
- Conduct site visits, attend pre-bid meetings, solicit vendor proposals, and review subcontractor submissions for scope compliance and accuracy

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
