Pipp Mobile Storage Systems is looking for a Product Engineer to add to our team. In addition to new projects, the Product Engineer works with the Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to improve processes and provide technical expertise. Some responsibilities include:

• Developing and reviewing product designs for manufacturability and durability to warranty.
• Applying continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability or cost-effectiveness.
• Providing technical expertise or support related to manufacturing or related processes, such as programming CNC's.
• Determining root causes of failures or recommending changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods using statistical procedures.
• Designing, building, and troubleshooting manufacturing or warehouse equipment.

Preferred experience and education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field, and 5+ years of practical and relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lean certification and/or QA or QE certification preferred
• Preferred knowledge of and experience with 3D Solidworks or similar 3D modeling software. Also, PLC Logic, CN programming, CAD/CAM experience a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems preferred
