Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the development of project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor a team of surveying professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
• Conduct regular reviews of surveying procedures and practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their surveying requirements and tailor services to meet specific project objectives.
• Stay informed about relevant surveying regulations and standards in Ohio, ensuring that all survey operations comply with legal and industry requirements.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for survey projects as required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor (P.S.) in the state of Ohio or working as a Survey Intern (S.I.) preparing to take the Professional Surveying exam.
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying and Mapping, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in surveying, with a proven track record of managing survey projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Proficiency in surveying software and technology.
