Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the development of project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of surveying professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
- Conduct regular reviews of surveying procedures and practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their surveying requirements and tailor services to meet specific project objectives.
- Stay informed about relevant surveying regulations and standards in Ohio, ensuring that all survey operations comply with legal and industry requirements.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for survey projects as required.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Surveyor (P.S.) in the state of Ohio or working as a Survey Intern (S.I.) preparing to take the Professional Surveying exam.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying and Mapping, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in surveying, with a proven track record of managing survey projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Proficiency in surveying software and technology.
