$72,552 – $97,596 Annually  

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking multiple Transportation Engineer 3s to work as Design Team Leaders within the Lacey and Tumwater Design Offices. These positions mentor and provide on the job training for staff and assist the Transportation Technical Engineer with various aspects of project management. They will represent the department at meetings, and with external stakeholders, to include local agencies, contractors, and consultants. They will also perform consultant contract administration duties and implement consultant contracting procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Assignments involve independent responsibility for organizing, coordinating, and performing technical reviews of engineering related elements for consultant agreements.
