Job Description:

OPTO International is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Engineering Data Intern. This position will play a critical role in ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity within our systems. The candidate will focus on various aspects of data cleansing, including but not limited to Description Consistency, Product Number Review, Dimensions Verification, among other things.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistency in descriptions compared to the most recently updated Spec guide.

• Verify and ensure accurate Product number assignment based on part descriptions and other relevant factors.

• Review Dimensions of Parts to ensure consistency.

• Ideal candidates must have alphanumeric data entry and data manipulation experience, focusing on accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience with data manipulation, data entry, or similar roles.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to utilize various functions to expedite data cleansing processes.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.

• Ability to work independently.

• Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Able to focus on repetitive tasks.

• This is a temporary position with an expected duration of more than 30 days.
