Education: High School Diploma or GED
 
Experience: 1-2 years of previous management or plastics experience preferred.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
 
A. Supervising operators, material handlers, set-up personnel, assemblers, and inspectors.
B. Serving as an internal ISO auditor.
 
Common tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
Manufacturing
a. Supervising and training all employees between 11:30 pm and 7:30 am
b. Maintaining production and quality with minimal loss or downtime
c. Documenting any changes to processes
d. Completing proper forms for corresponding tasks
e. Completing cycle sheets for all production jobs
f. Communicating with other supervisors and documenting your shift's performance
g. Seeking improvements to current processes
h. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
i. Understanding and complying with all quality and customer requirements
j. Respond to quality non-conformances promptly
k. Enforce and respect company rules and policies at all times
 
Miscellaneous

a. Keeping mold rack in proper order
b. Maintaining the colorant racks
c. Maintaining all granulators
d. Checking all equipment for proper operation of safety switches and guards
e. Supervising all employees to practice safe work habits
f. Maintaining air compressors
 
ISO Audits
a. Following proper procedures
b. Documenting all necessary items in accordance with procedures
c. Completing an auditor's checklist
 
Employees should also understand that there will be meetings they need to attend and additional duties to be performed as assigned
