Specialty chemical manufacturer is seeking a Continuous Improvement Chemical Process Engineer. Seeking LEAN or SIX SIGMA experience. Will be an individual contributor and team leader for various Process Improvement projects in the life sciences industry.
Responsibilities- The Process Engineer will troubleshoot and improve manufacturing and production issues – best practices.
- Provide and implement solutions.
- Enhance safety and environmental regulations and requirements in positive and cost effective ways.
- Analyze, develop, configure and optimize production process (DMAIC methodology).
- Lead / Manage Six Sigma projects. Mentor other engineers.
- Relocation provided. $110K-$135K.
Requirements
- The Process Improvement Engineer will have a BS in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- A track record leading and implementing Six Sigma / Lean projects.
- Experience with Data Analytics.
- PE a plus. Pharmaceutical ingredient experience a plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
