Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Maintenance & Operations Superintendent (WMS3) to ensure the safety and reliability of transportation structures by effectively planning, coordinating, and executing activities. Key responsibilities include maintaining a strong customer focus, preventing weight restrictions on highway structures, and ensuring smooth traffic flow at major crossings. The role involves open communication and coordination with internal stakeholders such as Mega Project Offices, construction/design offices, and maintenance areas, as well as external partners like counties, cities, and law enforcement agencies. Additionally, the position entails public speaking engagements and mentoring employees to uphold safety standards and recognize outstanding performance.
