Job Description:

We're actively searching for a skilled Senior Project Manager specializing in overseeing engineering projects. This vital role entails guiding the development of state-of-the-art facilities for premier global technology firms, with a special emphasis on the semiconductor and other advanced technology sectors. The position requires intensive collaboration with clients, engineering teams, and other experts to meticulously oversee project scopes, deadlines, and budgets. This job is located in North Phoenix, AZ, and requires the candidate to work on-site without the option for remote or hybrid arrangements. Core Duties:

  • Direct and manage project scopes, schedules, and financial plans across various design endeavors.
  • Collaborate closely with Discipline Leads and Department Managers to outline project scopes, plan work stages, establish design directions, and assign tasks, ensuring they match staff skills and project needs.
  • Manage the flow and control of design documentation, coordinating with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other parties involved.
  • Create and oversee project budgets and timelines, adjusting as necessary to meet goals.
  • Formulate and execute project strategies, set up monitoring and control systems, track progress, and take corrective action when required.
  • Follow change management procedures to authorize project changes promptly.
  • Participate in client meetings and support business growth initiatives.
  • Perform site inspections to detect and solve design challenges, incorporating solutions into project plans. Address construction-phase design issues as required.
  • Possibly provide guidance or mentorship to other Project Managers regarding specific project needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.
  • Proven experience in client interaction and project management within a team environment.
  • Preference for candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Must have experience in the semiconductor industry or in environments involving cleanrooms. Experience in large-scale industrial, cutting-edge technology, or high-tech projects is highly regarded.
  • Mandarin language skills are a bonus.
  • Competence in MS Project or equivalent project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team-building, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to conduct on-site evaluations to diagnose and fix design problems efficiently.
Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
