Job Duties: Deliver high quality features and improvements to the core Tableau Online experience. Work across a variety of technology stacks and contribute to the design and creation of simple, powerful, high-quality software.  Provide key input on architectures and best engineering practices. Develop and improve complex UI and backend features. Create and refine designs in collaboration with product owners, managers, and peers. Take full ownership of features that the team supports, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring. Mentor junior engineers and help others by providing thoughtful feedback. Represent the team’s technical strategies across teams and to senior leadership. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Cloud Computing; (2) Coding Design Patterns; (3) Systems Design; (4) Java; (5) JavaScript; (6) Distributed Systems; (7) Machine Learning; (8) Algorithms; (9) Data Structures; and (10) Relational and Non-Relational Data Stores.
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $182,312.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
