Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering PMTS in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design and develop innovative software for Tableau’s next-generation Visual Analytics and Collaboration suite using high-level, object-oriented programming languages, including C++. Create requirements and design documents for major software features. Implement software for Tableau’s server and desktop products using large-scale C++ systems on Windows platforms, as well as Windows technologies, development tools, and web-based technologies. Write automated tests, including unit tests and black box tests using modern scripting languages, including Ruby and Python. Work with customers and with the Support and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to resolve bugs and technical support issues. Work on improving the software development process by building and deploying tools to the team. Review and provide detailed feedback on documentation and test plans for software features. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Caching Technologies; (2) C++; (3) Core Java; (4) Eclipse; (5) HTML; (6) SDLC; (7) SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $185,800.00 - $296,400.00 per annum.
