Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Java. Code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high quality software. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves Salesforce, Inc. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ (2 years); (2) JavaScript (1 year); (3) HTML or CSS (1 year); (4) Git or alternative version control systems (2 years); (5) PostgreSQL (2 years); (6) Redis (1 year); (7) Message queue service such as Apache Qpid or RabbitMQ (1 year); and (8) REST API (2 years). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $128,502.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.
