Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to be able to design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers'. Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes. Present your own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Python; (3) HTML; (4) CSS; (5) JavaScript; (6) Git; (7) Eclipse; (8) JUnit; (9) AWS services; (10) Linux; and (11) SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $182,312.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
