Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Bellevue, WA:
Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Collaborate regularly with the engineers on the engineering team to gather feedback from them on topics ranging from project progress, internal processes, career development, mentoring, and general satisfaction. Represent the team in planning and product meetings. Meet with the rest of the engineering management team to align engineering-wide priorities. Help implement effective engineering processes and policies. Enable opportunities and resources for engineers to grow and learn. Set and fulfill the engineering hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.  Weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) GitHub (2 years); (2) AWS (2 years); (3) Slack (1 year); (4) Java (2 years); (5) Python; (6) SCRUM (2 years); (7) JavaScript (2 years); (8) Strategic Planning (2 years); (9) Project Management (2 years); and (10) Experience in managing team of engineers (2 years). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $229,986.00 - $258,920.00 per annum.
