Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) State Materials Laboratory is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer to serve as the Assistant Fabrication and Materials Supervisor. In this role, you will serve as the statewide technical program specialist in the inspection of shop fabricated prestressed, precast concrete structures, steel structures and other specialty objects. The Assistant Fabrication and Materials Supervisor will support highway construction projects Statewide by providing expert and timely inspection of highway materials being fabricated and shipped to project work sites. Under the supervision of the Transportation Technical Engineer this position is responsible for leading and supervising Transportation Engineers, managing inspection calls, updating inspection calendars, and delegating inspection assignments.
