Salesforce Inc. seeks Director Software Engineering Identity and Access Management in Bellevue, WA:
Job Duties: Build the new generation of Salesforce’s security platform, looking at security policy as part of service model. Build the internal software platform that enhances the security posture of production systems. Model policy control and implement a hardened and scalable framework for enforcing policies. Design, implement, and run software services that enforce the data center security posture. Build a fully automated software platform with single-click policy management for multiple nodes and services that self-heal and self-optimize. Utilize knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Golang, Java, C++, Python, C#; OOO concepts and programming; general Unix/Linux systems such as CentOS, RHEL, and Solaris; application-focused security like authN/authZ, identity management, PKI, encryption; cloud infrastructure in SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS; service operation technologies such as Docker, VM, Puppet, and AWS; pair-programming, agile development, test-driven development, and pattern-based coding such as MVCS, CQRS, layered architectures. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java and Groovy; (2) Servlets, JPA, JTA, or JMS; (3) Development of RESTful Webservices using Jersey; (4) Dependency Injection using HK2; (5) Cloud-scale distributed applications using Microservices Architecture; (6) Implementation of SCIM protocol; (7) Performance tuning of Java applications and Databases; (8) Multi-tenant Database; and (9) Docker containers. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $229,986.00 - $296,400.00 per annum.
