Utilities & Constructability Engineer (TTE)

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Transportation Technical Engineer to serve as the Utilities & Constructability Engineer in Vancouver, WA. The Utilities & Constructability Engineer is responsible for managing the Southwest Region Utilities and Agreements Offices which are responsible for all utility permitting, coordination and agreements in Southwest Region. In this role, you will represent the Department and act as a liaison who responds to all utility inquiries within the Region. This position is key to ensuring that all highway and construction projects are designed to be cost effective, biddable, buildable, and maintainable. Our top candidate must be highly knowledgeable and experienced in utility accommodation, agreement coordination, and constructability to assist project offices in developing biddable, buildable, and maintainable contract plans, evaluating project item costs,   and developing strategies to construction staging challenges.
