Qualifications and responsibilities for this Design Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the construction of building materials sector
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Office, and MRP/ERP systems (SYSPRO a plus)
- Knowledgeable in product development processes, capable of independently managing projects with a focus on costs and timing
- Experienced in design for manufacturability, preferably with in-house manufacturing background
- Responsible for securing specifications and approvals for polymer concrete and fiberglass products with DOT, utilities, and municipalities, ensuring their structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal
- Maintain communication and relationships with all sales channel levels and specifiers to anticipate changes or new product requirements

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
