Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plan Check Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
- 2+ years of building/structure plan check experience
- Must be knowledgeable with California Building Code
- Skilled with Bluebeam, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar software
- International Building Officials certification or equivalent, with State of California registration as a Professional Civil Engineer or licensed Architect preferred but not required
- Inspects structural plans for compliance with building codes, and assists with permit counter inquiries
- Provides technical guidance and explains building regulations to architects, engineers, contractors, and homeowners
- Prepares correction lists and maintains records, while coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders

Salary: $98,952 - $126,300 per year, commensurate with experience.
