Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking six Transportation Technical Engineers to fill part-time, non-permanent roles as Design Build Evaluation Specialists in Olympia, WA. The Design Build Evaluation Specialists support the best-value selection process for the procurement of design build construction contracts ranging in value from $100 million to $2 billion. These senior technical positions use highly developed knowledge of technical engineering practices and departmental policies, procedures, and standards to review, evaluate, and score design-build related procurement documents. These positions directly support the WSDOT Strategic Plan and Mission by supporting the fair and objective selection of best-value proposers to construct critical highway projects.
