Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to support the agency’s mission by ensuring highway construction contracts are developed, administered, and documented in compliance with WSDOT standards and contract specifications/plans. This is accomplished by providing office engineering, construction support, and inspection to ensure compliance with the above standards/documents. By diligently performing quality audits and completing record keeping along with contract documentation, this position provides valuable support to the Region’s highway construction contract administration staff. This support is critical in ensuring construction contracts are administered according to federal and state requirements thus ensuring that transportation dollars are spent efficiently and appropriately, maximizing the benefit to taxpayers and the community.
