Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Quality Engineer opportunity include:

- 5-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience; cabinetry and woodworking experience is ideal
- Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is ideal, but not required
- Strong background in maintaining equipment such as saws, edge benders, lamination lines, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD
- Proficient in machine maintenance, including pumps and hydraulics, with skills in PLC programming and diagnostic evaluation
- Improving systems, maintaining documentation, and a hands-on commitment to working directly on the shop floor
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including programming Siemens S7 ladder logic and working with various voltage control circuits and 3-phase motors
- This position requires local travel 1-2x weekly between 2 plants in southern Virginia

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
