Job Title: Planner/Scheduler II

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Duration: 12 months

Description:

 

• Dispatches work after the start of the day (after field employees have left the yard in the morning), using Click software, including adjusting crews as necessary after initial dispatching throughout the day. • Contacts customers as needed to resolve access issues. Makes customer contact to resolve customer issues/complaints as needed. • Interfaces with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, and Distribution Operations Center for planned outages and resource coordination. Adjusts schedules as necessary based on stakeholder feedback. • Serves as a member of the Storm Response Team • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure. • Strong verbal and written communications skills. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices • Will have to be available based on business needs. Hours of operation is 6am-7:15pm. This position will require the selected individual to work the late shift 10am-7:15pm M-F.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices.
