Responsibilities:
Project manager role: provide team direction, schedule, assess budgets, and meet milestones
Manage small teams of architects, designers, and/or drafts people
Contribute to conceptual development of project designs and drawings for presentations
Assist in referendum planning various Board of Educations
Prepare NJDOE project applications, amendments and LRFP updates
Conduct site visits for surveys, photos, and field memos to document existing conditions
Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies
Develop architectural schematic design and construction documents in REVIT and AutoCAD
Coordinate with design team, architects, senior management, and other stakeholders
Attend various meetings, including pre-design, plan review, and professional organizations
Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
Manage construction administration process from contract award to project close-out
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent
Licensed Architect or aspiring to be Licensed
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in Architectural Design
Experience in commercial projects (not residential), K-12 or higher ed. preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (REVIT also preferred)
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to perform local job site travel as needed (Up to 20%) mainly within South Jersey (some travel to Philadelphia area).
Experience in Higher Education, and Municipal Projects
Experience UNANET project management software is a plus
