Job Description:

As a full-time faculty member in the Engineering Department you provide instruction in all levels of engineering, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills. You will also provide leadership for the Electrical and Computer Engineering programs.

As a faculty member you act as a mentor for the part-time instructors. You serve as representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.

Please note: This is an on-campus position with an opportunity for hybrid remote work. You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment.

Qualifications

Required Education/Training & Work Experience:

  • Master’s degree in one of the related degrees listed below. 
OR
  • Master’s degree in any field, plus 18 graduate credits in one of the related degrees listed below. 
Related Degrees: Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics 
 
Preferred Education/Training & Work Experience: 
  • Experience with electrical engineering and coding
