Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to serve as the Engineering Work Order Specialist for the Puget Sound Gateway Program in Seattle, WA. The Puget Sound Gateway Program is a $2.7 B capital construction program to complete SR 167 in Pierce County and SR 509 in King County that reports directly to Headquarters as a Mega-Project. This highly visible program must satisfy the needs of the public and multiple local, state, federal, and tribal organizations, and regulatory agencies. Funding comes from State, Federal, local contributions, tolling, and State and Federal competitive grants. In support of the Program Manager, and under the supervision of the Deputy Program Manager, this position prepares and monitors work order authorizations (WOAs) and supports the Gateway Program with a wide variety of financial reporting efforts.
