Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain knowledge of facilitys design and licensing basis in the assigned area of responsibility
Acquire and maintain required training and qualifications necessary to perform assigned job responsibilities
Conduct equipment performance monitoring and analysis to support production capacity goals
Develop resolution of technical problems in accordance with established procedures and available vendor documents (including but not limited to: Nonconformance Evaluations, Operability Determinations, and Quality Level determinations)
Perform analysis, calculations, and develop designs in support of the assigned facility and engineering programs and projects
Conduct field walk downs in and around the facility as needed for job duties and for general Engineering observations and adeptness
Develop Plant Modification packages from described desired solution or from described issue
Perform technical and quality reviews of a wide array of engineering and technical products
Advanced experience levels also perform reviews of non-typical documents and situations
Communicates and works effectively with other organizations to resolve technical issues and to implement engineering outputs
Apply industrial safety and radiological safety practices in the performance of all field activities and engineering functions
Maintain regulatory and schedule compliance for assigned tasks
Apply sound engineering judgment and professional rigor in the performance of all analyses and assigned tasks
Ability to take direction and function as a team member to solve a variety of engineering problems in the applicable discipline
The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree from a four year University
Experience- 1-5 years of engineering experience
Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and an L or Q level security clearance
Understanding of basic engineering principles and problem solving techniques is requiredKnowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics, and mechanical, electrical, atomic and sub- atomic structures and processes
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Documentum, & SAP
