AGCO is currently seeking an Engineering Team Lead to join our Validation Engineering team in Round Lake, MN. The Engineering Team Lead will participate in the development and implementation of the product test programs. Additionally, they will provide leadership and support to the to ensure testing is performed on time and at the highest quality.  The Engineering Team Lead spends equal time hands on with the equipment in the test lab, writing reports and serve as a lead for the satellite lab.  This position will mainly focus on validating durability and reliability for components used to build track tractors, sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, and planters.  

Responsibilities of the Engineering Team Lead:

• Oversight of all component level testing within the test lab
• Working hands on in developing component level durability tests, including fixture design.
• Maintenance, repair, and calibration of all hardware and software in the lab
• Report technical information pertaining to the performance and reliability of new engineering products and concepts
• Evaluate test feasibility and coordinate work efforts to meet project requirements
• Demonstrate technical leadership and training for engineers and technicians
• Will be responsible for four to seven direct reports
• Schedule lab activities to meet project milestones
• Contribute to the development of testing concepts, standards, facility improvements, and practices related to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc.
• Evaluate test feasibility and coordinate work efforts to meet project requirements
• Work with design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and the program team to develop a world class product.

Required Qualifications of the Engineering Team Lead:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs objects
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Noise Vibration Harshness
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with CREO or any other 3D CAD
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with servo-hydraulic test rigs
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in on-job Test Engineering

Preferred Qualifications of the Engineering Team Lead:

• Minimum of 5 year of experience with eDaq, LMS Test Lab, LMS SCADAS, nCode Glyphworks
• Minimum of 5 year of experience with Accelerometer, Pressure sensor experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrodynamic shaker profiles
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience

Education of the Engineering Team Lead:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering preferred
• In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 15+ years of experience as a Test Engineer will be considered
